Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) vegan butter or coconut oil

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 flax eggs (2 tablespoons ground flaxseed + 6 tablespoons water)

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/3 cup cannabis-infused coconut oil or vegan cannabutter*

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a square baking pan (8x8 inches) or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

  2. In a small bowl, prepare the flax eggs by combining the ground flaxseed and water. Stir well and set aside for about 5 minutes to thicken.

  3. In a medium saucepan, melt the vegan butter or coconut oil over low heat. Once melted, remove from heat and stir in the granulated sugar until well combined.

  4. Add the flax eggs and vanilla extract to the saucepan, stirring until fully incorporated.

  5. Mix in the cannabis-infused coconut oil or vegan cannabutter until well combined.

  6. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.

  7. Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the saucepan, stirring until the batter is smooth and well combined.

  8. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly.

  9. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

  10. Remove the brownies from the oven and let them cool in the pan for about 10 minutes. Then, transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.

  11. Once cooled, cut the brownies into squares or desired shapes.

  12. Serve and savor your homemade vegan cannabis brownies. Start with a small portion and wait for the effects before consuming more.

Note: The potency of the brownies will depend on the strength of your cannabis-infused coconut oil or vegan cannabutter. Adjust the dosage and portion size according to your tolerance and experience with cannabis.
